Day 1: Departure Kota Kinabalu / Arrival Taiwan
Take your direct flight to Taipei
The flight journey took about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Arrived at TaoYuan international Airport and collected our baggage, proceed to the train station and hop on a metro to HSR TaoYuan Station. From HSR Taoyuan station, we took the high-speed rail to the Zuoyang Station. The whole journey took us about 3 hours and 15 minutes. As we arrive Kaoxiong Gate 1, we will be welcomed by the local guide, Mr Liu.
Kaohsiung City Tour
Visit Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum. Beside the scenic view, one can also do some shopping or, enjoy a scrumptious vegetarian lunch.
Love River & Liuhe Night Market
This night market, which is developed into large-scale trading complex, is known as the Liuhe Night Market. There are more than 100 stalls in the Liuhe Night Market, most of them selling snacks and providing entertainment and games for recreation. A variety of delicious food, specialties, cold drinks, ice cream and seafood here are offered here for you to pick and choose.
Day 2: Kaohsiung- Nantou
Nantou County lies at the geographical heart of Taiwan and is the only county that does not border the coast. Visit Sizihwan bay for sightseeing and experience the light rail transit (LRT) and stop at Nantou Jiji Train station old street. Walking around the small town of Checheng, you will find a scenic pond that once served as a log pond.
Take a leisurely stroll along the walking trail encircling the pond, and enjoy the utmost tranquility surrounded by nature at its best. At Checheng, visitors could sit back and relax a bit before experiencing a short nostalgic rail journey to another beautiful town.
Day 3: Nantou- Taichung
Just under 2 hours bus ride from Taichung lies the majestic, blue and misty Sun Moon Lake.
Surrounded by a stunning mountainous backdrop, picturesque bicycle routes and its clear turquoise waters. It can get extremely busy over the weekends, especially during the holiday seasons. A good variety of local food and popular Taiwanese Milk Tea are also served here. One need not order a big potion of meal but to walk around trying or testing the delicious snacks are the most fun to do.
From Sun Moon Lake Station (south east of the lake and just north of the Ita Thao community) to the Formosa Aboriginal Culture Village. Night visit to FengJia Night Market.
Day 4: Taichung-Taipei
After Breakfast, Visit Danshui ancient street & Fisherman Wharf. Noon proceed to Jiufen, One of the most interesting trips during our Taiwan travel was the day trip to JiuFen Old Street (九份老街). This place is like Taiwan in the olden days (or maybe little Hong Kong), with many interesting shops. While you are there, you can also enjoy the beautiful ocean view of Keelung outer sea! Continue journey to Shifen. Pingxi is known for lantern-flying, send them off to the sky for good luck. Night Xi Men Ding.
Day 5: Taipei
Spend a day at Taipei, enjoy the hustle and bustle of this arts and metropolitan city, TAIPEI 101, Duty free shopping at Everrich Duty Free Shopping Zone and enjoy the unique and artistic cafeteria around the town.

Day 6: Taipei – Kota Kinabalu
Ready for departure back to Kota Kinabalu International Airport
